WHY DONATE?
- To honor Mr. Charles Person whom we lost last month.
- We must remember our history! We want to incorporate it into Black History Month.
- Pass it on to generations to follow.
- Donations will be split between the schools in Georgia.
- Scholarship to local high school student(s).
- Freedom Riders documentary shown in local high school.
This is being done to honor and recognize Charles Person and Hank Thomas as true American heroes!
Contact Senators about H.R 1247
Two American heroes are still alive, Charles Person and Hank Thomas. They were two of the 13 original Freedom Riders and need to be recognized by receiving the Congressional Gold Medal which is pending legislation HR 1247. I ask everyone to please go to this website where you can connect to whomever your state representatives and senators are. Let’s make sure this legislation gets passed on to honor these two American heroes…while they are still alive.
